EveryPage

Terms of service

Last updated 22 October 2026

Who we are

EveryPage is run by retriv, Inc. (“EveryPage”, “we”, “us”). These terms are the agreement between us and you, the customer who signs up. By creating an account or using EveryPage you agree to them.

If you sign up for a company, you confirm you can bind that company to these terms.

What EveryPage does

  • You give us the address of a website. We read (crawl) its public pages and keep them in sync.
  • We give you a snippet to add to that site. It shows your visitors a search box and an Ask box.
  • The Ask box answers visitors' questions in plain words, using only your site's pages, and links to the pages it used.
  • You can see what visitors asked, and their thumbs up or down, in the EveryPage Console.
  • The free demo at askthissite.com lets anyone try EveryPage on a site. Demo sites are deleted after 24 hours.

Your account

  • Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Give us a working email address. We use it for sign-in, billing and service notices.
  • You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.

Sites you add

  • Only add sites you own or have permission to add.
  • We crawl only public pages: we do not sign in to your site or read pages behind a login.
  • You keep all rights in your site's content. You let us copy, store and process it only to run EveryPage for you.
  • You are responsible for your site's content, and for telling your visitors about the Ask box where the law requires it (see our DPA).

AI answers

  • Answers are written by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) from your site's pages.
  • AI answers can be wrong or incomplete. Each answer links to its sources so readers can check.
  • EveryPage is not a source of professional advice. Do not rely on answers for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.
  • We do not use your content or your visitors' questions to train AI models, and our AI provider does not either under its commercial terms.

Plans and payment

  • Plans and prices are listed on everypage.dev. The Free plan needs no card; its Ask trial lasts 30 days.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Prices exclude taxes unless stated.
  • Each plan has limits (sites, pages, answers). If you reach a limit, the Ask box may pause until the next period or until you upgrade.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from your next billing period.

Cancelling and deleting

  • You can cancel at any time in the Console. A paid plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
  • After a paid plan ends, we delete your account's data about 30 days later.
  • Free accounts that are not used for 40 days are deleted. We email you a warning after 30 days without use.
  • Paying accounts are never deleted for being inactive.

Acceptable use

Do not use EveryPage to:

  • Break the law, or infringe anyone's rights.
  • Crawl sites you have no right to crawl, or overload any site.
  • Attack, probe or reverse-engineer EveryPage, or get around its limits.
  • Resell EveryPage without our agreement (the Agency plan covers running your clients' sites).
  • Publish answers on content that is illegal, hateful or harmful.

We may suspend a site or account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we will tell you first.

Our service

  • EveryPage, its software and its brand belong to us. You get a right to use it while your account is active.
  • We aim to keep EveryPage available, but we do not promise it will never be down.
  • We may change or improve features. If we remove something important you pay for, we will give you notice.
  • If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.

Liability

  • EveryPage is provided “as is”, to the extent the law allows.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data.
  • Our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending these terms

  • You can stop at any time by cancelling and deleting your account.
  • We may end these terms with 30 days' notice, or straight away for a serious breach.

Changes and law

  • We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we will email you before they take effect.
  • Questions: support@everypage.dev.
